I am asking that there are robots being developed in every part of the world. I just saw on T.V. that there's a robot developed by Honda which can walk but doesn't have Artificial Intelligence, but a robot in japan has very developed artificial intelligence and another in U.S. can show emotions. Why don't these labs work together to produce a perfect robot which ahs equilibrum, emotions and intelligence.

Honda's azimo is well balanced true. all robots have there own characteristics. Making a bipedal (2 legs) robot is hard because it takes A.I. to balance itself. Babies develope this sense by crawling and falling down. A robot has to have a program that tells it what to do all the time and how to more motors and what is a good thing and what isn't. Big Blue, that awsome chess playing computer has artifical intelligance because it can cream grandmasters in chess. To combine all these robots and end up with a robot like HAL from 2001: A space odessy, but one that can move is an incredible feat in itself. Everything in the end is to make people or keep them independant. It's like why don't scientists work together and cure all diseases, or why don't contries put their 780 billion dollar military budget to good use and take car of all the world's problems and still have 100's of billions of dollars to spare.
