Nothing except maybe attention. For many of us, it's not a points game, I just enjoy the Q&A when I have a few spare moments. Unfortunately many members seem hung up on getting as many points as possible, but what does that prove? Nothing really, except that they have the time to do it. It's basically Monopoly money... maybe one day YA will make it worthwhile, but I doubt it because there's really no way to enforce it. Too many members gaming for points.

Bragging rights and little else. There is a contest on right now with prizes for most best answers. Most of the time, though, the points are merely points and nothing else.

fun, satisfaction, competition and get to answer more questions. Actually, competing is human nature and getting points for answering encourages us to answer more and more questions.
