You have to find your own inner muse. No one can find it for you.
I wouldn't invest in anything the requires lots of $$ until you try it. If you'd like to try something..like a craft...find a sewing / craft store and take a class. Sometimes, if you're close to a college with a fine arts program, they offer neat classes (I took wheel pottery once..very cool.) Look for alternative education classes.
I joined the local Weaver's Guild ($15 for a year) and rented a 4 harness 24" Table loom from them for $5 a month. Once I realized I wanted to DO this, I bought a used table loom, and started gradually investing in supplies.
I've taken a drawing class from an alternative education center. Wheeled pottery at the local university. Recently took a sewing class at a local sewing center, and just signed up for basic quilting. There's a local woodworkers guild that I may join too..just to see if this is something I want to try.
If you want to try gardening...call your county cooperative extenstion office.
The possibilities are endless.

What do you like to do? Read, write, hike, swim, knit etc. I don't have a hobby per se, but when I'm asked I say I read or knit for relaxation, I enjoy hiking for the scenery and workout. You probably already have something it's just the moniker HOBBY that has you stumped!!

Learn to play guitar or bass (which is easier). It's fun and when people ask what your hobby is it will generate a coversation. If hte person asking is a guitarist, you will have someon to jam with

Find something that interests you. Don't get a hobby just for interviews. It'll just make you miserable. Think about what interests you, and use that.

Reading, film, sports, internet. you probably have hobbies and don't relate to them as hobbies. Surely you don't vegetate your life away.
