I know that that "Yankee Dime" is slang for a kiss, but I do not know how it came to be. Do you know why "Yankee Dime" is a kiss?

I grew up hearing this phrase - my mama is from Georgia. :o)

I find the term fetus disgusting and a medical attempt to dsensitize and alienate what the "fetus" ACTUALLY is; I thought that was the whole point, if you don't call it a baby it's easier to kill it, like a bug.

My grandmother refers to a "yankee dime" as a dime ( Seated Liberty coinage-10 cents circ. 1880) that was so thin from wear that you could see through it.
