Not ALL men underestimate or try to suppress women. Only men who lack self-esteem, or were raised to think that's appropriate.

There really are some nice men out there. They're not always easy to find, and have been frequently grabbed by women who were quicker than I was...however, they do exist.

No, they aren't like unicorns and elves...really they exist.

It depends which country/ethnic you come from..? Just look at Italian mamma or Arabic papa?
Normally the bread-winner in a household is the one who control and make final decisions. It varies to one country to another
Historically, the concept of male/patternal-ism has existed long ago.Why Jesus is HE? Why people use the word CHAIRMAN not chairwoman etc? I guess during those days people worship someone who has power, strong physical abilities etc. Sadly, men win over women. This concept cuturally passed to one generation next to another
However nowdays women have given many opportunities in the workplace for example. There are certain jobs women are better than men.

They don't...it just seems that way because women complain a lot. Men don't try to suppress women...women just aren't as good as men.

They tend to be weaker athletes and mechanics and guys tend to think of everything in those terms.
