hi the summer things i use to do with my son were making our own ice creams he use to enjoy that u let them pick the kool-aid they want and poor it in ice trays with tooth picks, he thought it was great! or surprise them with a waterballon fight, make sure you have a lot of balloons for you hidden a way already filled once that first balloon hit out of the blue the kids go crazy so make sure your ready! or have them help you with a yard sale or see if they want to hold there own yard sale and any money they make can be used for ice cream shop or go to toy shop and squirt guns and have a war! or show them how to grow a family garden. each one of your family members have to pick out a plant or a flower that reminds them of their self and then you show them how plant them and feed them and take care of them (depending on ages). you plant them in one area for the families only. make a day of it go shopping for the plants and have lunch at thier favorite places to eat. make sure you plant them as a family for the family.

I go to the library and get books with craft ideas. The kids call them "projects" and love to do them. We often invite the neighborhood kids over for the fun. Backyard swimming pool, Sport balls, let them "help" you cook, rent movies (or better yet borrow them from the library) and have a picnic. I don't know if you have regular access to a car. But we go to the dollar movies, the free show at the library, the pool, eat lunch at home and go to Macdonalds for an ice cream and the play place. Hope this helps I know summer can get awfully long lol

To do around the house?? Well, at my house I live on about an acre of land, and I have a trampoline and a fourwheeler, so I guess I could ride my fourwheeler, or lay in the grass or jump on my trampoline, but then again, my fourwheeler broke down. I guess I could ride my lawnmower, but eh. Maybe make a fire pit like I did last year and roast hot dogs and marshmallows and stuff over it. Play board games... play with your pets, play games on the computer, or ps2 or xbox or whatever console you might have, rent movies and have movie nights with like pizza and all that other kinda junk food.

You could have a summer party indoor's or outside.
