When under the truck you cannot even see the oil pan let alone get to it. The two answers that I got previously this morning were from two people that are not familiar with the 2002 ranger engine. Please only resond if you know what you are talking about.

if you can't find it why are you messing with it take it in seriously it is underneath the truck locate the engine it should be on the side near the bottom of the engine if you can't find it you shouldn't mess with it you will only hurt yourself can you find the transmission move towards the front of the truck from that point you'll find it

It has to be on the bottom or side of the oil pan at the lowest point.

if you can't see the pan oil drain plug, I would be wasting my time trying to tell you where to look!

Unbolt the skid plate. I know rangers. If there is no skid plate your blind.
