I think I'd like to know what you mean.

Are you stating that you'd like to operate in such a way that you have disavowed yourself of the pursuit of things so that regardless of what you have or do not have, you find yourself satisfied?

If that's the case, I say "Kudos" to you.

If, however, you are saying that you'd like to have all the "stuff" without having to work or have responsibility, I say "grow up."

Ultimately, life is not about the acquisition or lack of money or stuff. Instead, it is about being a faithful manager of whatever you find under your control or influence, whether money, intellect, people, or talent.

Many of the "rich" in the world live as misers...so, while they are rich in money, they have no enjoyment...their "stuff" rules their lives. They are slaves to it.

Many of the "poor" of the world, however, are also ruled by the pursuit of "stuff". Because of their very real lack, they quite literally serve the stuff they do not have in order to obtain the bare necessities of life.

So, I say...be an excellent manager of your stuff to allow it to increase so that you can be influential to allow others to life effectively.

Peace Love Live Life Truth! Yes exactly! We all want to have financial security. Need it want it got to have it! Real Richness id a true Spiritual thing! Knowing that our Father said that he would provide all our needs! WE need not worry! He told Jesus (Yeshiva) and the Disciples, don't take anything with you! No money no beggars bag,he assured them that he would provide their needs. No worry, no fear no ego! We are led by Love! Serving and Truth! We are energy, not mass! The more we seek Light, goodness and forgiveness the Brighter that Light from within will shine through! That is Richness! Plus being Rich spiritually will only assure that as we use our Gifts and talents that as we become Prosperous as a whole being! We will turn back and pick our other Brothers and sisters up. Help the communities, each one teach one. One does make a difference and peace on earth can be, it has to start from within and also have your house in order. Not perfect, striving to be exactly who we as individuals were Created to be!

In order to live like one is rich, one must be rich, so I think that the statement is silly! One may have moments of feeling rich or financially well-off for a day or two without wealth, but there are heavy consequences for indulgences on a low income!

Pat Obrien, a great character actor, never attained great wealth, however, he made friends with many who did and he and his family were able to live as if they were rich by maintaining these close relationships and partaking of his friends' generosity. So it is possible.

if you live like you're rich... being thankful for everything you've got, always having a positive attitude on life, etc., than you've already figured out the path to success. you see, happiness comes from within, not from outside. if you truly have inner peace, than nothing on the outside can affect you. so basically happiness comes from within. think positive, and good luck.
