I have a friend who waited on her at a sporting goods store in New York when Star was still fat. She threw a fit because they did not carry designer ski suits in her size.
She wants people to care about her but she is quite a miserable person. Extremely self centered and just not nice.
Anyway I don't watch The View, but it's hard to miss the hype about this. Magpie show is a great description!

Last night I saw a story about her career history. Prior to The View (which I'll admit I've never seen), it was impressive. Apparently she has quite a bit of experience handling real news, particularly stories on legal issues and famous criminal cases. Now it seems like she's just another celebrity wanna-be that will see her name in the tabloids, but nowhere else. Too bad. She could have been a great role model for African American girls.

Well we can speculate till we turn blue but here goes my theory..when she found out her contract would not be renewed she must have been told why it would not and yet she went around wondering what can I do now? She was hurt, I can understand that but when she chose not to come forward and say just how she lost so much weight so fast well the fans began to wonder why she would not say and I guess they felt she had been honest with other aspects of her life and why not this one? So when she decided to come out and suddenly announce that she would not be coming back without at least warning Barbara Walters and others well its like stabbing someone in the back and just letting them bleed to death. Star Jones just signed her own death certificate.

I caught an episode of the View when Star had some problems coming out of a boob lift surgery & you could tell no one really cared. She's a wanna be diva who will get what's coming to her for being such an obnioxious brat!

I used to care about her when she was a real person who didn't give into Hollywood's image of how "real" women should be. Now, I could care less about her. She has turned into a fake, plastic person who has a snobbish attitude. Hopefully a wind storm will hit New York City and blow her away.
