ph is actually the percentage of hydrogen ions per liter of fluid. The ideal ph for the human body is 7.35 to 7.45. the reason why is that ph is basically a reflection of the acidity of the blood stream. The danger is not necessarily from the acidity, but more so from the REASON of the acidity or akalidity.

If you are hypoxic (deprived of oxygen), then you are most likely acidic. (Low ph). The acid is not what is going to kill you right off. It is the lack of oxygen that is causing the problem, and most likely will cause the death.

pH of each organ at different times may differ from another.usually it is nutral,i.e.the pH is 7.
