Is it really worth the cost or just a passing fad?

I have both so cant tell you which one to get because they both have advantages and disadvantages. Both are great the programing is great on both tho they both have shows that can only be found on one another. It is well worth the cost. To me

Both have grown up a lot and XM has more subscribers. I actually like the XM portable receiver with an mp3 player built in. Its not much bigger than an ipod.

Get an ipod instead. Mine holds 15,000 songs, so I figure it's just like serious radio, accept I know that I will love every single song on it.

I had Sirius first. It was OK, But...
XM is much much better.

XM can go anywhere, you can even get a boombox and play it in your garage!
