Everyone thinks referees are against their country, because everybody dismisses the own team's foulplay and cries out when one of their beloved players goes to the ground...
No offense meant, sharky, but I hear that all the time from different people from different countries, and it always goes :"Why do the Referees hate ..... (put in whichever country you like) so much!".
The referees are under a lot of pressure from the FIFA and that leads to lots of situations where they make too harsh decisions. And many Germans feel that the yellow cards were unjustified that were handed out in the last games, and nobody -save the Italians - will say that the penalty kick against Australia was justified.
It's always been that way. Referees are human.
Rooney did kick that guy in the balls.

The only reason the rest of the world doesn't like you is your arrogance that makes you think you have a divine right to win eveything.
You stupidly believe your idiot media that feeds you 'best in the world league' and 'world's best players' drivel when anyone outwith England can see you for what you are.
A reasonable international side with some very ordinary players.
Get real.

Referee's so far I know have to impartial..that's why I am assuming you have an Argentinian referee and not a Portuguese or English referee.
Besides why did Rooney have to hurt the guy in that place...maybe the referee did see something we didn't see...maybe he saw the malice on Rooney's face.....Think About it!

yeh sure ,, you are not serious dude,, cast your mind back to 1966,, it was a mistake by the referee and the linesman that allowed you to win the world cup against the run of play
and while we have your attention if your country is so great and powerfull in footballing terms..how come you have not won the world cup for 40 years

If you're referring to the fat boy incident then the ref had no choice, i mean he stamped on a guys balls, hes a thug. Why cry, these guys are all getting 30K or more a week and they will be out getting pissed tonight. Just think of Ivy's family, that should put things in to perspective my friend.

because FIFA are corrupt.

we've seen in italy that match fixing does happen.

FIFA can and do sway refs, players, managers, organisers.

FIFA but pressure on UEFA to ban english teams in the 80's from european competition putting the development back 5 years.

FIFA use money and political sway to select the groups for competitions and suitable refs for certain games.
Look at Germanys group in the world cup, what a joke.

This world cup was supposed to be in England but miraculously Germany got it with an inferior transit, stadia and managment.???????

Sep Blatter,
Micheal Platinni,
Frans Beckenbauer,

Corrupt!!! Dont let them fool you.

That's what everybody (except Brazil and Germany) is asking themselves this year. WHY are the REFEREES always against *insert country here*? Because the world is unfair and FIFA is worse, that's why.
