im pregnant and my back hurts from my accident, i may only be 6 weeks is it okay to take lortaB?

no do not take anything like that i was pregnant i just had my baby on june 12 tell your doc he or she can prescribe you tylenol codiene 3 low dose those other pain pills will cause serious cramps in the long run trust me.

You can take painkillers later in pregnancy, usually tylenol 3 or vicodin, but you should never take it during the first trimester. Can you try Thermal heat wraps (Therma-care) or a heating pad? This is safe as long as you don't over heat. Don't use it all night either. Tylenol is safe, up to 1000 mg. A jacuzzi tub, but no hotter than 100-102 degrees and only for 10 minutes in the tub and 10 out, you can alternate.
I suggest seeing a doctor though because sometimes there are other things that are used when the benefit outweighs the risk. Don't take that painkiller though, your baby is developing right now better safe than sorry.

My doctor would only allow me to have tylenol for the first trimester it is best not to take anything.......thats when most of the real development occurs.......i had to take an anti anxiety medication because of personal problems and i had to wait untill after 13 weeks to start back on it......and also anything you take like that after 8 months could make you baby addicted to that substance......i can only say make sure you really talk things through with your doctor

Maybe I was a little too cautious..but I would always ask myself before taking something..would I give THis to my baby?

Doctoors will usually only prescibe TYLENOL but ask first Ok.
