I would say the three films; I consider those movies as a trilogy; two of them were directed and pretty in pink was written by John Huges who really captured the essence of 80´s youth. He's the same guy who brought you Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Now, What would have been Ringwald's career if she'd had accepted that role (Laura Dern's role) in Blue Velvet?

Wow I LOVE Molly Ringwald, My favorite movies are the ones Ive seen her inw hich are, Pretty in Pink, and Sixteen Candels. She also played in not anther teen movie, as an adult
I really want to see the Breaskfast club, but everyitime it comes on TV, im busy! Ugh!

I liked her in "Sixteen Candles" just because she was so pathetic and she had Farmer Ted harrassing her all the time.
