QUESTION: Though girls like guys who are good, but they still won't go out with them, why?
P.S. Good is refered to guys who are: Honest, hard-working, serious, funny according to the situation's need, dose'nt smoke or drink ( dat surely dose'nt mean dat ppl who smoke/drink are bad, jus mentioning it...), and are really decent.

When girls are young, before they have life experience to guide them, they are drawn to people who are "bad" or exciting. But after being burnt by the bad boy over and over again, most women who have matured will eventually seek out the men who are "good" and responsible. Again, I say MOST women.
When I was 21 I married a "bad" guy but quickly learned, as I grew older and more mature, that this was not the life I wanted. I now am 24 and dating a "good" guy, and believe me, there are many times when I think back to all the good guys I let go and how stupid I was to do so. I feel truly priviledged and lucky to have found one after all I had previously put up with and also after all the "good" guys I blew off.
Believe me, even though it may not seem this way to you now, when you find love with a woman that appreciates you, it will be a long lasting love that will out live any relationship with a "bad" guy because she will appreciate it far more.
When we're young, we're not thinking of things like finances, family, and responsibility. We're thinking of excitement, fun, rebellion, etc. It's only with age that then comes the true understanding of what is needed to have a successful relationship and life.

Personally if I ever met someone like that I would not know how to act. I would be shocked to say the least!!! If a guy was like you are describing he would be a prince to me. His personality would make him a cute guy in my books. You have described the perfect guy to me. I would go out with some one like that in a heart beat, but he would have to be single and so would I. That is one thing that you did not mention. But I really don't think there is such a person like that out there, at least one that is not taken yet any way. On the drinking part--he would have to be a social drinker only. But I really don't know why someone like what you are talking about would have a problem getting a date.

Okay, the biggest confusion people have is that there is a difference between being a jerk, and being aggressive.
Being good isn't enough, you must also be aggressive and persue the girl. I don't have enough time or space to go into examples here.

not many gurls r like that really..most gurls just like the bad boi type alot of gurls do and there r a few who would really want the nice honest type of guy i mean it is way better to have that kind of guy then one that cheats on you and never tells you thats for sure

Because, sometimes good means, you're like a brother to us. You're the one that we might brake the glass in case of an emergency! In some cases if we do date you, it's because we are bored, might need some sex, get it from you, and call you whenever!

WHY?
because they are afraid and not ready to meet someone good like that. because they don't think they deserve it. because they will go for the bad guys cause they find them more attractive or something.

no. and im a living example. "bad" boys don't rate that high on my scale. sure, they are hot but i wouldn't want to be sucked into anything that they do.

its part of a womens nature to correct what is wrong.
they want bad boys because secretely they want to "reprogrammed" them to be good. they want to nurture this "tortured soul" into something better. its the motherly instict
also maybe she is a bad girl herself
