Why is my hamster shaking with his eyes open.. he is supposed to be sleeping?

Do they sleep with their eyes closed?

Yep! But I got a Chinese Dwarf Hamster named Precious. She always shake.. Maybe its either she's scared or sick..

hamsters are nocturnal... is he awake? Are u checking him in the daytime when he's supposed to be sleeping?
It's possible that he's sick. take him to the vet.
