i am making a website with instructions and i am wondering what is necessary and how to write it.

the wordings have to be precise unless as another questioner points out you could experience legal action.

It's like when you download/install a freeware or shareware programme, there is always a disclaimer advising the software publisher has checked for viruses but is not responsible for anything that happens once the software is installed...

get legal advice.

You might want to talk to a lawyer about it or have him write something up for you. It may cost you a few hundred dollars, but it will minimize your chances of getting hit with a lawsuit.
