Herein is a very interesting aspect of the power of God. When Satan thought he could take over the place of God (book of Ezekiel in Old Testament), he did not know what he was doing. I do not believe God had revealed to Satan and the angelic host what His absolute power is. In Isaiah 57:15, it states that "...the High and Lofty One THAT INHABITS ETERNITY".

The truth of this is seen in the book of Revelation (last book of New Testament) where it states "The Devil was cast into the Lake of Fire, where the Beast and False Prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever."

Notice that God has decreed the end of Satan. There is nowhere that Satan may hide. He cannot go to another planet or find a place to hide somewhere in earth. In that God already exists in the future, the end of Satan has already taken place. Satan just hasn't reached that place yet, but shall. It is impossible that Satan escape this written fate, because God has written it.

First, am a bit confused with your choice of words... do you mean if God lives - why don't HE kill Satan? Satan is a fallen angel that God once loved. Eve ate of the apple because she was tempted by Satan, then so did Adam. History is panning out according to what was prophesied in the Bible. The Anti Christ is coming - who will be Satan. Those on the side of God will be protected and taken up to heaven. Those who do not choose God stay behind to go with Satan to Hell. According to Revelation in the Bible.

Well for the simple reason, there's always two sides of things...there's a consequence for very action. In all logical stand people if there is a being known as God who is all powerful and considered to be good then there has to be an equally powerful evil force. It's known as the ying yang principal. If you believe in balance that is.

If not then I have an answer for that too....if there's a great super hero (God being the ultimate super hero...) then there has to be a super villian. We give praise to god for all the good things and someone that holy could never do anything bad so we have to blame someone else. So we use Satan as our scape goat.

Because back in the Garden Of Eden, Satan (who was put in charge of the garden by God) decided (by his own free will) that he wanted worship, so he told the first lie at Genesis 3:15 where he told Eve that if she ate the fruit (not necessarily an apple) of the tree of knowledge of good and bad that she wouldn't die like God told her, but she would be like God. God did carry out his punishment of Adam and Eve by an eventual death. Satan (Not his name but describes him as resisting God) wanted to prove that he could rule better than God, which Satan has been trying to do for 6,000 years (only a short time to God, but a long tiime for us).

As for now, Satan and his demons have been thrown into Tartarus, which is a place where they can't ever learn anything new about God anymore, but they still can cause us problems. After the Great Tribulation is over and after Armageddon is over (God's war against the wicked people), Satan and his demons will be let loose for a little while, and that is after the residents on earth have become perfect people like Adam was.

Next, Satan will try to get those perfect residents to choose to follow him, and those who do will be destroyed permanently and so will Satan and the demons; not in hell that burns but just DEAD. God punishes with Death NOT with burning. That idea was borrowed from the Greek story called Dante's Inferno, and it is not the way that God punishes humans. He is a loving God and he punishes very serious sins with death and no resurrection. Hell in English, Hades in Greek, and Sheol in Hebrew mean THE GRAVE, not a place of burning. Even the Lake of Fire is not literal because the Bible says that governments will be thrown into it, and even DEATH will be thrown into it.

In conclusion, though, God is giving Satan a fair chance to prove whether he is fit to rule or not, and we can see that he isn't because look at all the troubles in the world. After the fair chance is over awhile after Armageddon is over, he and his demons will be destroyed permanently so that the residents on earth will live in peace on a paradise earth forever ruled by Jesus, in heaven, and the 144,000 who have been taken to heaven.

After the thousand year reign by Jesus, He will give the kingdom over to God so that God can be all things to everyone is how the Bible puts it.

if you live why dont you cut off your arm? Because satan is a part of god, one that decided, "screw you man, Ive got better things to do!"
They are two sides to the same coin. You cant have one without the other. It is required to maintain the balance. We sit at the middle of this.

If you think at a little higher level than the religious zealots who quote their holy books like parrots, you will realize that God is a shorthand expression for all that is good in man and the devil is all that is evil. The genes that cause these opposite sides of behavior sit in us side by side and it is very difficult for one to over rule the other. For some people it is impossible.

There is no need for any God to send his son any where, nor for Muhammad (blessed be his name), to tell us not to eat pork and kill the non believers.

Nothing in this universe can exist without its Polar opposite, for full there is empty, for matter there is antimatter, for good there is evil and similarly for God there is Satan. In this case Satan exists so that he may lead man astray and destroy him. And God knows that if Satan would not exist he would'nt know how faithful mankind is to Him

First, try spelling better! But God gave everyone, including Satan, free agency to do as we wish. God will never force his Word on anyone.

Because God wants us to have free will to choose what we will and that includes choosing him over Satan
