"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."

-Teddy Roosevelt

I suppose if he were alive today some of you neo-fruitcakes would be calling him a commie liberal baby killer because he's encouraging honesty and accountibility in government?

And he was an environmentalist. And he believed in regulating industry to protect the consumer from them from corporate greed (which at the time was the greed of individuals and families mostly). He became known at the "trust buster"

Go figure.

Now that's a Republican I could vote for!!!!!! I'm sure that there would be some staunch conservatives that would love to label someone with those views a liberal, but I say what's wrong with that? If more people had stood up to Bush, instead of being "Yes Men/Women" we wouldn't be in Iraq. In today's world, if we speak against the war or whatever, we are the treasonists, the unAmericans, but the shoe should be on the other foot.

That guy had fire coming out of his ears. Though I liked him, I think he was from another planet. We need more like him. He talked funny though.
