What did I say about the Argentinian Ref in the Portugal v England game....?
How many matches have been turned into jokes in this World cup. The Australia game....the last Portugal game having 16 yellows and 4 reds....offside flags up and refs not spotting them, players getting booked 3 times before being sent off, players headbutting other players and not being sent off...I've lost count now.
Stuff it, I'm so pissed off with the World Cup I can't even be bothered to watch the end of the match....lets see who's playing in Wimbledon! XD

Oh and that reminds me - the ref in the Ghana v Brazil match was utterly shocking too.

this world cup has lost it's value.i stopped watching after the Ghana-Brazil match.the ref was horrible and I'm surprised FIFA didn't do anything about it.For me Brazil is not the best after all if this is how the got there.the ref. should be severely punished for that pathetic thing he did.Any bias ref. should be terminated.

There are clearly no real sports fans on this site.
The referees decisions, right or wrong, have to be abided by.
Every time a decision goes against England someone says the ref has been bribed.
As for Rooney being sent off...good...he needs to realise you can't act like a spoilt 10 year old & get away with it. This is just a repeat of the throwing the boots around tantrum in an earlier match.

No bribe. Red card is fair. The English boys are not serious world cup contenders. They do not have a depth in skill. They only have height in Crouch. They have done very well to get that far with the kind of crap soccer they play.

i agree the ref in this cup sucked a great deal.
too bad Colina is not participating.
By the way the whole system i think its unfair since they took back the second yellow card from Figo i think a few days ago...

I think with hindsight the referee did a good job. It is up to the players from each side to act dignified and grown up, not cheat.
