Why did he sent Rooney out? I know the guy has a temper, but he didn't hit anybody. He pushed a portuguese player, but it wasn't a red card offence, come on! If he was given a red card for stepping on an opponent, why didn't he see the red card right away. I think that the referee gave him a red card for pushing and i also think it was WRONG

totally right .....pushing and shoving .. please its not kindergarten...of course if your an english fan you'll say unfair as most rugby games fans are known for their brutality afterwards ...so it seems harmless to you

Indeed, very very unfair from Rooney to step on the other player and then push an other one...enough reason for a red card I guess. Guys like Rooney shouldn't play soccer ...

he totally deserved it. not only did he step on the guy's good spot he then went on and pushed ronaldo and then went berserk on the ref. i think that if would shut his big fat mouth and let it be he'd prbably just get the yellow card. the ref had like six people in his face, and all he saw was roony shouting and yelling at him, so he got what he deserved: A RED CARD!

I disagree with the decision too. I was angry with the refs decision. I hope England still pulls out the victory which I am sure they will.
