I mean I wear jeans and long sleeved tee-shirts but sometimes I'll wear a short sleeved tee with a jacket( Like a light one from wet seal) with my outfits. I don't get overly-hot or anything but my dad always complains. This is a bit embarrasing but I sweat and the jacket hides it from anyone I'm talking to. And I don't stink or anything like that either. My dad said if I find a web-site that say's it's okay or healthy to wear that kind of stuff in the summer then he'll let me wear anthingy I want and I'm about to go shopping and there are some sweet A7x and other band t-shirts I want that he's trying to stop me from wearing. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME! I don't want him to change who I really am.

Just as an fyi I've had myself checked out It's only when I'm nervous and it's really hot and humid out that I sweat a lot. I'm comforatble in the clothes That I wear and i'm not only wearing these types of clothing just to cover that up to. I also wear then to cover up my chest area. I have a lot of guy friends and I'm kinda big for my age so I'm embarrased about it. I just can;t out-right say this to my dad though...

If you are sweating so much and trying to hide your sweat by wearing a jacket, you will just sweat more. Wearing jeans is fine. You can get shields to put on your arms.
Do you know about the effects of heat stroke and dehydration, what you are doing could hurt you medically.
Explain to your Dad the situation, Get some of the shields and get a bunch more shirts and tops, so that you can change several times a day. Use some powder too, Shower to Shower or Gold Bond or something. It should help keep you a bit dryer.
Drink cool drinks, get those neck things that yousoak in water to cool you down.
You will be much more comfortable doing this then over dressing.
Show this to your Dad, especially if he gives you a hard time about buying more clothes.
Hi Dad, lots of great sales this weekend Dad. Have a good one!

I don't see how you can possibly be comfortable in these clothes in the summer. If they cause you to sweat and you only need the jacket to cover the sweat stains, then why not wear something that doesn't cause sweat and not have to worry about being embarrassing? You sweating a lot can also cause dehydration. I know my dad wears long sleeved shirts in the summer and always as far back as I can remember. And he is a bit what I call cold blooded , I on the other hand can't handle the heat like that. And in another way to look at you wearing long sleeves in the summer and jeans , that you are protecting yourself from the sun. Hope you get the clothes you like, just don't wear it to look cool, but stay cool.

Yes, but us answering won't change his mind, because we aren't pros.
Anyway, the clothing is just covering up the issue that you think you sweat too much and you don't want it to show. I will assume you would be sweating too much even with lighter summer clothing.
Questions:
How have you determined that you are sweating more than normal? Do you use anti-perspirant but still sweat? Do you compare yourself to your friends and see that when you are sweating, they are not, after doing the same activities, wearing the same weight of clothing?
If you check hyperhydrosis on wikipedia, it may help you determine if you are sweating an abnormal amount or not.
Best wishes on your shopping spree.

it sounds to me like your dad has been reading too many chick magazines, or he's in the closet. Nobody cares what you wear, but it's actually a good way to lose weight during the summer you sweat it out. In my book, jeans and t's are always in.
you don't mention where you live, i mean climate wise but I would suggest if you are going to the beach than shorts would be better, camping you need jeans, desert you need jeans, most summer outdoors things you need jeans it's not like your a ditzy blonde who can only where strappy dresses in the summer. Ask your dad if he wants you to dress like a sl'ut instead because that's what stylists say is in.
Also you may stink and not know it because it is your own smell you are used to it.

As long as you are not overheated its okay. I sometimes wear jackets in the summer. I just really like them. I know what you mean about the sweat thing. Its okay to want to conceal it. But, cooler clothing may lessen the amount of sweat.

I always say don't be a clone and suit your own needs/style. Drink plenty of liquids. If you are not dehydrated, I see no harm in it. Some people are hot in the winter, like me, and wear less clothing than most. Be an individual and just love your parents and they may understand. Thank you for your question.

I think it's okay to wear anything , any time you want to, as long as it's not harmful to your health, or hurting any one. If you get too hot, then take off your jacket, I don't understand the problem, I guess! You know better then anyone how you feel.

If you're old enough to clearly express yourself in writing, you're old enough to pick out your own clothes. Tell your Dad I'm old, too, and I said it was ok. (Besides, I'm the same way. I get cold when I sweat- nothing worse then humidity and temperatures in the 70's. You sweat, you get chilled, then you're bones ache. At least, that's my reason for dressing warm.)

you could team skirts with leggings or stocking and prefferably chosen the two black or gray as they're iciness colorings. you additionally can team summer clothing with leggings and boots aswell as a lovable headscarf and severe waist coat. this form you will stand out of the team via fact at times donning denims can get slightly uninteresting.
