Each one is different and you need to run several to cover all aspects. Adaware--Spybot search and destroy---and spywareblaster are essential for a pc and are free ! Spywareblaster is a stand alone program that all you have to do is keep it updated and enabled. The other 2 is just to keep updated and ran at least once a week. Best of luck and you will not regret neither of the 3.

some don't consider some items as spyware when the next program does. best spybot and adware SE free Also to protect you from getting get spywareblaster its free. It makes sites think that you have the spyware already in other words it is a decoy. Keep it up to date and read instructions. Note my spyware fell from 40-45 semi weekly to zero most of the time with spywareblaster.

because some spyware softwares are not as good at finding viruses as others! and norton antivirus is the best because it updates any time there is a new virus

nobody can answer this question correctly,although some will swear by their own software,and say they never get any viruses,they also dont use p2p programs on a heavy basis.anti virus programs generaly detect the files that are infected,but in actual fact quite often name the virus differently.the fact that they are giving you the location,is more important to you as it gives you the chance to track it down.I use 7 programs now,and generaly one of them gets it.If you use the search for questions bar at the top of this page ,and type in---free antivirus programs--then search through the answers you will get them all.download them and back them up on disc if you dont want them all running on your computer.

I feel sometimes in the beginning they show the viruses list, which are practically not installed in your operating system. This is just to influence the user that our anti-virus scan is more effective & updated than the one you have been using in the past.

i hadnt encounterd any such probs with diffnt spyware.
accordin 2 me microsoft anti spyware is d best.
& its also free 2 download
