Because he's a nincompoop!!!!! We have young men dying over in Iraq, and he's visiting Graceland!!! What's Wrong With This Picture!!!!!!!!

You are all demonstrating a profound inability to use rational thinking to arrive at a logical conclusiuon. When did the president say he was a hero because he took the Japanese prime minister to Graceland? Why would you think he felt that way just because as president he was cordial and showed his guest, a chief of state from another country a good time? If it had been reported that the prime minister wanted to visit Graceland but Bush had not arranged it you would be attacking Bush for being rude. You've all just jumped on the dump Bush bandwagon like it's the latest fashion statement and it's pathetic. Not only is it stupid, it is unfair.

He wanted to show the PM where a real American hero lived.
Elvis never dodged the draft, never had his daddy pull strings to get him out of being drafted and show up for duty when he was required to for his country.
