What do you think of the idea of Social Democracy instead of the capitalistic type government we have, under a type of Laissez-faire? (Other words do you prefer an economy more controlled by government or one that is less checked in power by government)

Social democracy is a bad idea. Giving the government more control is rarely a good thing. Remember the old adage "power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely."

I am kind of in favor of the social democracy i guess becuase i am more liberal than most and i am probably going to catch a lot of flack from the neocons who read this but I dont see what is wrong with big government that helps pull people out of poverty instead of one that puts people in poverty . I mean neocons are pro big government but the money goes into military might and invading other countries. I guess its all a part of bush's "WAR ON TERRORISM tm."

please read FLUFFDADDY's answer. I will add that: social democracy is an oxymoron in those places that claim to have it.
actually, those places don't know the meaning of democracy and for the social.....it's referred to as ....socialist.
