Study acting. Get involved in the theater groups at school and in the local theaters. All cities have them.

Take theater arts and learn to act. Then go to college and major in theater arts. As you learn and develop skill, you can begin to do auditions and perform. That way you build up the skill and experience you need to fulfill your dream.

Good luck.

Be in as many productions as you can. Start saving money now so that you can support yourself when you can't get any jobs. Audition for an acting school. Major in Theater in college. There is no set way to become an actress, but the more acting you do, the better you will be. Just don't be dissappointed if it doesn't turn out how you planned. Acting is a tough career to get into.

Audition for roles in community theatres. Create a portfolio and send it to local talent agencies. Volunteer to teach theatre or drama to young children after school.

Get an education. Why not do a double-major in something like Theatre and Finance? You could work as a book-keeper in the evening while attending auditions during the day, until you got your big break. When you become successful, you'll be smart enough to manage your own money. Or consider majoring in Theatre and taking a Bartending course in the evenings, so that you can work nights while auditioning during the day. Whatever you do, GET AN EDUCATION!

Get a degree, go to college, and plan on a career in something else. Seriously, probably less than 1% of the people who want to be actors actually end up making it big. Make sure you get an agent as you will never get work without one.

Hey,
Well i believe that one great way to learn about acting is volunteering to be in school plays. Many famous actors and actresses once acted in school and church plays. But, if you'd like to learn more about acting *now* check out this site:

http://www.redbirdstudio.com/AWOL/acting2.html

It has free acting lessons, and is one of my personal favorite sites on the subject. Remember, if you believe it then you WILL achieve it.
