If the UN had sentanced harry Truman to death after taking the lives of all those from the A-Bomb. How would the world take it if France was the "world police" and came into the USA and demanded we surender OUR weapons of mass destruction and held Bush in Guantamo bay for war crimes? And crimes against humanity and religion.

1) The A-Bomb was used in a time when little was known about atomic weapons. We were in the middle of a world war and the president used what he felt was necessary to win that war. The alternative is you could be speaking German or Japanese right now instead of English. Since we now know the destructive power of those weapons, we do not use them and we encourage others to not use them. We still have them for MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) so that others will be persuaded not to use them.
2) France couldn't even keep from being invaded. They would be speaking German right now if it wasn't for American, British, Canadian, and Australian troops who gave their lives in WWII. Let us not forget the mess they made in a little country called Viet Nam. That was a colony of France and they screwed it up royally.
2 Part B) We will never surrender our WMDs due to MAD (see previous answer). Since we are the only nation on Earth ever to use Atomic weapons in combat, it would be foolish to assume we would hesitate to retaliate with nuclear force if a hostile nation attacked us or an ally FIRST.
3) I say Bush should be tried for war crimes, treason, and a laundry list of other charges. I have to agree with you there.

How wold the world react if Japan had taken over the world? They were brutal. How would the world react if 911 didn't happen? Let's see, last count of countries helping us in the war on terror is 48.
The rest of the world has to cooporate if we are to have peace. The only thing we did against the al-qaeda is to not believe that way they do. I'm not going to change my religion and I'm sure the other people who don't believe the way they do doesn't want to change either. Even athiests.

okay........now that you've established to the world what an idiot you are, let's work through this.
Japan attacked the US, they started it. It would have cost us over another 100,000 AMERICAN lives if we invaded their country to finish up what they started. It could have been only one bomb, but they refused to surrender. Were we supposed to just keep taking their crap? So we chose to save American lives. Americans are very logical. It only made sense.
Now I want you to pay attention: We did not start the War in Europe either. In fact there was a bunch of resistance from the American citizen to us getting involved at all. So what ever you are trying to say is making no sense. If you are talking about Iraq, then you are completely missing the mark. Try again bucko......

you must look back in history. if the militia had not defeated the british, we would have a queen and be speaking their ways. in germany we stopped it or we would be speaking german now. the bomb was dropped to defeat japan as japan attacked us first. remember all who died from the attack. as far as france, they are sissy's. we fought for them many times and when it came time to help out, they chickened out. we have the weapons to destroy as well as many other countries. every war we were in, both sides regret it after the fact. but since the history of man, there will always be the ones who want the world for power or religion. it will only end when the buttons are bushed. no matter who gets out of power, some crazier fool will get in line next. history repeats itself.
