I'm with you....Merlin was absolutely the BEST, although my daughter loves The 10th Kingdom as much! We watched it just the other day!

the football movie Brian's Song with James Caan and Billy Dee Williams is a classic. Way good enough to have been made for the big screen.
I think it premiered as a "Movie of the Week" on ABC tv.

A lot of the movies HBO releases straight to TV (i.e. Band of Brothers, etc.) are really good. I especially liked Something the Lord Made and Walkout.

Pride and Prejudice - the one with Colin Firth in it. Its about 5 to 6 hours long and I absolutely love it. I just can never get enough of it.
