How long do u have to wait to receive your first work comp check and what is the percentage of weekly gross you receive?

Illinois has a specific table by which to calculate benefits. Because it is lengthy, I will give the link - Here is the link http://www.iwcc.il.gov/Benefits.htm
There is ALSO A 3 day WAITING PERIOD. This means that NO TTD benefits are paid for the first 3 days. They have up to 14 days - by which time they must either pay you, or provide you with a written explanation WHY you have not been paid.

There is a waiting week before it kicks in. I think 2 weeks before you get the first one. I dont' recall % - it's been a while but I want to say instead of a $350/2 weeks check (working) I got $250-275
