ok...Im three days from my due date. I have had contractions consistently every night for about a week now. They dont hurt and aren't regular. Last evening I had some pretty regular pretty strong contractions for about three hours, but they faded away so I assumed it was just braxton hicks. This morning I woke up a little nauseated and then at about 9am I started having some weird cramps. Almost like menstrual cramps but they had a sharp shooting affect and the worst part didnt last long but the crampiness lingered. I can't feel my stomach contracting with each of these pains so I guess its just gas or BH right? Also, I wore some low rise pants yesterday that were alittle tight and thought that couldve caused it...should I consider this the strat of labor or just a false alarm.

it always a good idea to call your doc - don't feel stupid or badly - if you don't know what's happening, it's better not to take any chances. good luck~!! =) and congrats!

you are asking a bunch of strangers that you THINK are doctors.. for something pretty serious - call your doctor, go to the ER - whatever, but do not rely on a bunch of strangers..

they could mean a ton of things, and we do not know you like your OB knows you for the love of Pete... call him or her now.

pick up your phone and call your doctor!!!!!

don't rely on the advice of some random ppl on the internet for such an important thing as the birth of your child..!

Your so close to your due date that I wouldn't take any chances, call your OB, get checked... to see if you've dilated at all.
