Is there a product in the market that will stop a car engine from smoking?

Probably not. There's a lot of "snake oil" on the market but if you think about it, a smoking engine is probably burning oil----and oil is burned when it leaks into the combustion chamber of the engine---where it isn't supposed to be.

Usually wear and tear on the engine causes either the valve guides on top of the engine, or the piston rings, to allow oil to get into the combustion chambers.

Certainly nothing in a can is going to replace hard metal that has worn off over time. That's like saying you could fire a .22 bullet in a .30 caliber rifle by dipping it in "Slick 50" or "STP".

It's not going to happen. There are tremendous forces and a lot of heat in an engine.

At best, some "goop" will gum up your engine long enough to cut down the smoke for a few hours if you're lucky.

Have your engine tested with a "cylinder leakdown test". This will tell you PRECISELY what is wrong with your engine and whether or not there is an inexpesive remedy or not.

There is a product called smokeless oil on the market but it is rather expensive. That is assuming you are talking about a blue smoke. If the smoke is white ( coolant burning ) or black ( fuel dumping ) you will have to take care of the problem ( fix it ) before the smoke will stop

Depends on why it is smoking, if it is bad oil rings maybe, bad valve guides probably, anything else no.

smoking could be a sign of leaking valve gaskets....try a quart of Lucas oil....Ive used it for years and will stand by it.

Sound like it needs a de-coke, take it to a garage.
