Depends on what type of fairies there are. Fairies like to live their places around lush forested hilly land like Ireland or the British isles. Some may live in a separate realm from us called Fairy World (so Fairly Oddparents) Fairyland, or Fey. Some legends, I think, stipulate a twilight realm where the fairies walk. See what you get out of that.

You lucky thing ..do you think he only belonged to you?..he probably had lots of friends he visted ...I think he may have had a family and lived with them in a fairy community ...there really are such things ...here in Ireland you still find fairy rings ...thats a fairy community

you grew up that is where it went.....fairies dont really exist. A child imagines it because it helps to have someone else there to go through their chidlhood with. I had an imaginary friend as a small kid and my little girl has an imaginary boy and girl or at least she always calls them to dinner or to get in the car first before her......she says "Come on boy.....Come on girl!" Then she will get in after they do....So cute........she is 4 but when she gets older they will leave her thoughts.
