I Dont get the whole calorie thing ok to lose weight if I eat right I need to burn more calories then I take in if my rmr is 1662 and I need to eat at least 1480 to lose weight dont my rmr burn more calories so if I also work out and burn 500 or more calories will that be fine or will I starve myself I need to lose weight and I just dont get the whole weight lose and calories

The entire idea is to consume less food (calories) than what you burn each day. It is hard to know exactly how many calories we burn a day for the simple reason that breathing, typing, coughing, etc. burns calories. The best way to lose weight is to go on a sensible low fat, reduced calorie diet. Stay away from anything white, like potatoes and bread. Eat more fruit and veggies and start a moderate exercise routine. Don't starve yourself or you will have physical problems much worse than being overweight. Good luck!
