It depends on the bacteria. For example TSS is caused by a bacteria and it is fatal if left untreated. Trichomonas, chlamydia, and gonorrhea may not be symptomatic initially, but they can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). This can cause problems with fertility or ectopic pregnancy which carries a high mortality rate. Also PID can lead to peritonitis which is an infection in your abdominal cavity which can be fatal due to sepsis. Bottom line...Always get treated for bacterial infections.

It depends on the infection type. Salmonella for example is one that is not noted for killing people, but some people do die from it. Listeria is a kind of bacteria that more often kills people.
Strep throat won't kill people directly. If left untreated, it causes rheumatic fever and the antibodies directed against strep attacks the heart.

Yes bacterial infection if left untreated can get worst. It can extend it damage and go into your blood streat and later you'll develop bacteremia (bacteria present in blood) and eventually into septic shock and can lead to death.
