The best software I have found after comparing 6 of them is Spoken English-2020. My students love it. It is made for people who can read some English, know a few words, and want to speak fluently to make useful conversation in a short time. There are 10 real-life themes, 20 lessons, 2000 useful sentences. Just see listen repeat. It is not free, but fairly inexpensive. The best thing I like about this software is there is no gimmick, no-nonsense, no complicated grammar, no waste of time, just start off with simple useful spoken English and in a month speak enough English to get by in real-life situations. It covers both British and American accents, so pretty good for travelers (travellers in British). The translations of the texts are given in many languages, German, Hindi, Bengali, etc. There are a few other very good software, but they are expensive and take a long time to learn. Hope that helps.

for people like us (u and me, Indian) I think the best way to learn English is by listening and try to sing English songs. Try to follow the English news and slowly u'll be good in English speaking.
As far knowing all words of dictionary is concerned, well honey its impossible to remember all words. So stop thinking about dictionary and start listening English songs.

Take a class. Usually most towns offer free classes to people that want to learn English. Local college usually offer classes cheaply. I used to teach ESL (English as a Second Language). So look for ESL classes. Good luck to you.

Practice. Avoid using a different language. On average it takes 3 months of total immersion to be fluent in a foreign language.
