because they're lazy and stupid.. if your turn signal is broke there are hand motions you are supposed to do that you SHOULD have learned before you were given a drivers license. My pet peeve is people who don't use turn signals or hand motions then look at you like you're an idiot when you have to slam on your breaks to keep from hitting them when they turn unexpectedly at a 4 way stop.

Because when i do the jack-ashes in the next lane speed up so i cant change lanes....its like they think i will use up the lane and they wont have any left for them.
I use them when making left turns at the intersection, however

Because they think we can read their minds.
Or that people should just know that they're turning.
Which is totally bogus and VERY dangerous for the people who get stuck behind them...like me.
