What are your theories about all the strange happenings on Lost? I can't work out whether or not they are even still on this planet!! It's all too weird!! What do you know or think?

I think that everything has to do with government experiments. I think the plane crashed due to the button not being pushed and the magnetic pull brought it down. However they weren't suppose to be there and everyone already there was part of an experiment so now they had to be worked into it. The "others" probably had similar fates that brought them there and they formed their group. As for all the really weird things like seeing polar bears and weird black fog like stuff.... I think it is mass hallucination induced by drugs the government is exposing them to.

I know this probably isnt the answer you're looking for,
but you should just watch the show, enjoy it and not try to think about theories behind it too much!!
All will become clear and who knows you may enjoy it more if its a total shocker!

Hurley is still in the mental institution in a coma and all this is in his mind. his friend no-one else could see was the doctors trying to get him to snap out of it. all the people are figments of his imagination.

I love this show, but I get sooooooooo mad that they keep "dragging it on". I feel it may be someones dream.
