What is the best way to plant perennials on a hill side, so that no weeds grow but you still have a wild look?

try a creeping ivy ground cover and a few
other plants or shrubs that cover a wide
portion and you can add flowers that give
it a accented look. Check your garden center
and this will give you an idea on what is

Heavy duty landscape fabric and landscape pins. Over that, about 4 inches of hardwood mulch. Plant the plants close together so you can't see much of the mulch.
