According to a recent item on "How's It Made" (Discovery channel), men's buttons were designed to allow the garment to be unbottoned while the wearer was drawing a sword. Women's garments were designed "backwards" so that they'd be the "right way around" for the maidservant helping the lady of the house get dressed.

Womens buttons are on the opposite side because women often had to have their servants help them button up all those buttons, so they put them on the other side. Most people don't have servants, or the tight corsetted clothing like in the past, but the tradition has continued into the present day.

I might get this the wrong way around. It was because men(?or maybe it was women) had someone to help them dress. So the buttons are one way if you have to look down to do them up and the other if a servant is doing them for you.

properly, you replied part of your question your self, per chance with out understanding it, because as you're saying that is a decision.some men do, and some do not; like breast augmentations. i imagine this is common to love what you want, yet as i believe about who choose one 'type' over yet another, maximum men are a minimum of fairly captivated with the female sort and all this is fantastic curvaceousness. My guess is that once your time has exceeded you'll locate that the girl who's suitable to those awesome mammalia, will be extra significant to you than her outer visual charm and also you're going to adore each little thing about her, including what ever length and structure her breasts ensue to be. On a own be conscious: my determination is the organic boob, because fake ones would properly be too agency and "plastic" and so don't experience almost as good as a extra yielding type, i.e.- i love the real aspect purely fantastic! I do imagine that females might want to experience free with themselves and not in any respect bow to "societal pressures", yet we both comprehend the reality of it really is fairly diverse than purely conserving that, and this is extra complicated of an difficulty than that. you're literally no longer on my own notwithstanding, if others did not like improvements of this way, women would not problem themselves to those approaches. i desire this has helped.

In the old days, buttons were uncommon, only rich ladies had then on their clothing. Rich ladies also had maids to help them dress, so the buttons on their clothing was made to be buttoned easier by the maid, rather than the wearer.

In the old days, women of stature were dressed by their maids. By placing the buttons where they did, it was eaiser to button them up standing in front of someone.

Because that way, when you're trying to unbutton his / her shirt, it's easier. The buttons are a mirror image of each other, so it's just as if you're unbuttoning your own shirt. ;)
