I am a male, about 16 with dark black hair and a thin body. I am working to get a 6 pack abe. i am about 5'7" with a tan in my skin.

Why not see if you could get a start as a catalog model or model in one the larger stores. Some of them hire people hire people to pose as mannequins. Get an agent but be careful, as some are not reputable. See if you can get on a TV commercial. These are starts to get you noticed so you have something to put on a resume.

both of the answers above are not true lol its impossible to have a resume and portfolio when your first coming out... and clients do book you if your not a size 1 or 2, anyways.. what your going to want to do is, get professional headshots taken, dont spend more than $250 on them because your just first starting and you dont know if you'll like the game or not... after getting headshots your going to need to find an agent, depending on where you live it may be hard, but dont be discouraged.. remember when finding an agent.. you will NEVER pay an agency up front, they are NOT suppost to ask you for any money at all, they only take percentages out of your paycheck once you start booking jobs.. but umm yea.. i wish you the best of luck, and remember modelings a lot harder than it looks but dont give up!

If you really want to become a model,and you are girl, you cannot wear a size1 or size 2 or they wont accept you. Models use 00 because they need to become thin/skinny enough to model for other porpuses too.

I can tell you that all the suggestions combined can be helpful to get you started in modeling. (except Steve's who is a total idiot) What they all neglected to tell you is, "BEWARE of the fakes that will exploit, use or abuse you for their own gain and dump you when they are done! Be careful and make sure where ever you go, whatever agency you pick; it is legitimate..and SAFE..

First you have to get a portfolio with a resume and professional taken pictures of yourself.
