Rather it is a case of self assessment. The foreign work force is plugging the gap for American pitfalls.
The rule of capitalist structure is applicable; market forces are determining who is to get the job. American workforce is costlier comparing to China, India, Philippines and other countries in that region. Further they are better of in knowledge, technique, hard work, and overall quality.
I know many former employees in America turning self-employed due to loss of job, and then outsourcing the work to cheaper countries; as their former employers have done. Why this is so? Why double standards? You are an employee, you feel the pinch but the moment you are a business person your attitude changes!!
Americans need to re-look at what they are advocating, cost cutting is ruling their commercial decisions.

Unfortunately most of us US citizens have either priced ourselves out of a job or we've become too lazy/inept.
Outsourcing has been happening for years, especially in the manufacturing sector. It's all about business, and the bottom line is money. If I, as a worker, charge too much, don't produce, or can't do something as well as a foreigner either the business will go elsewhere to find workers that do, or import those workers into the US (re: illegal alliens). Sad but true.
You know, what really disappoints me is the number of US citizens who are on disability, getting money from you and me. I would bet that over 80% of the "disabled" people I encounter each day would be able to find some sort of work if the government quit paying them for their idleness. It's amazing what one can do when faced with hunger.
Good question!

Lets say one of these companies doesn't outsource jobs to India, this company can't compete with the other companies and goes out of business and cases 1. financial ruin for itself 2 the loss of a greater number of US citizen jobs. Companies need to stay competitive even if that means sending some jobs to India.
On the bright side, as more jobs are sent to India, those citizens will start to demand more money and as the cost of living for them increases, the job playing field will level out.
The economic landscape is evolving and companies/people need to evolve with it.
So to answer your question, no, it does not bother me.

It bothers me a great deal just as when our manufacturing jobs went overseas never to return. We have given away the manufacturing jobs to foreign countries and only had service jobs left, now they are oursourcing them as well. We have given away America to foreign countries and soon to be very little left for Americans. Will be next decade , my guess. Politicians don't care , they make money by putting all these bills through that allow this to happen to America. Now look at the many groups trying to take away our freedom of religion and practice. Some call it the ACLU! They are now trying to make us take the crosses out of federal cemeteries.

No, I wouldn't take a job like the ones offered to people in India. If you are unemployed, apply for financial aid and go to school. Even if you go to community college or trade school, go learn something so you aren't as concerned with having your crappy job taken away.

Yes it does. We need to take care of our own before we can even hope to help others.
