You can use a fiberglass repair kit, auto body filler, etc. Then the surface will need to be painted to match the rest of the tub.

You need to consider tho.. why does it have a hole? If it broke when stepped in, then it needs some support under it.

Auto body filler works well.... don't forget the hardener, lol..which is sold seperately in most stores... you can get the hardener in white or red... the red helps you see that you have mixed it properly...if its your first time using it, I would suggest the red. Note, the more hardening agent you put in, the faster it will set... and I do mean fast....lol. You can get the auto body filler in as small as a quart can in most places, and in some, smaller.

The fiberglass repair "kit" can be purchased from some of the building supply chain stores, and contains everything you need.

Good Luck!

Depending on the size and location of the hole, you may be able to get away with chalking the hole. You be the judge of it. If not able to use chalk, buy some epoxy and hardener fiberglass repair kit, from your nearest home improvement store. Good luck.

fiberglass patch, i forget the names of the compounds but you will need a bucket of the epoxy and a bag of fiberglass threads, other than that its similar to bondo, used it about ten years ago to repair my little fishing boat.
