The one thing you can do is just
use soap and water and clean of
the patio than spray some raid
spider spray around to help detour
them. You'll need to do this once
in a while to keep them away.
This depends on what type of spiders
your talking about for your area.
Go to a hardware store and see what
they have that would work. Good luck.

That was a nice answer but if you live where theres scorpions like I do if there is spiders then that brings in the scorpions because that's what they eat,I have a remedy book that says if you don't have bug spray which is the best and ecspecially if you call an exterminator that really kills the spiders good but they say spray wd 40

first I would not they are there because it is a healthy environment and they believe there is enough food (other insects) they can survive. If you do get rid of them your next question will be how do I get rid of all these other insects. chemicals do not really work and will kill everything like an atom bomb to clean the living room mess up. if it is just that the webs are unsightly broom and hose and water they will only return in numbers if they can find food.
