Apart from brineshrimp you can also get whiteworm and breed them yourself. Fish will take the occassional earthworm too. However just feeding livefoods isn't very good for the fish, i personally use tetrabits (Think it's called Tetra Prima in other parts of the world) which is well formulated to contain vitamins and minerals too. Actually, live food isn't really necessary, they have the possibility of containg disease which may be introduced to your tank. Next best thing i supposed apart from dried food would be frozen bloodworm.

you can get live food from any pet store providing they sale tropical fish. You can also get frozen food which disintegrates when put in the water. My fish love bllodworm which you can get live but i personally think frozen food is best... just look in the yellow pages for tropical fish stores and ask them do they sale frozen fish food ie bloodworm, shrimp etc
