I will always stand up for what I believe it, but I would never break the law to do it. I have never been arrested, nor do I care to be arrested. There is a legal way to stand up for what you believe in. Unless you believe in unlawful behavior. Ex: Cindy Shehan.
For some reason left-winggers feel that it is an accomplishment to be arrested for what you believe in. Just more attention. I think they have a mental disease that makes them obsessed with having attention. And the more off the wall outrageous they are, the more attention they get. Look at Cindy Shehan's face when she gets arrested, she has a big creepy smile on her face, she loves it. When you look in her eyes, there is nobody home upstairs, just a blank stair of pure hatred for this country. There is something seriously wrong with her and she needs to seek professional help.

It is very easy to get arrested. Been there, not that I enjoy being incarcerated because- I do not. I've been jailed for a few hours to no mare than a few days. There are people that want to get arrested so that they can have a dry (although cold) place to sleep and a free meal. Of course I would be willing to get arrested for what I believe in, I've been arrested for what others falsely and without merit believe. One can be arrested for almost anything... Trespassing on your own property, is one that I'm still very confused about! Loitering.... Possession of Altoids, even

Of course I'd like to think that yes, I'd stand up for what I believe no matter what the consequences. Getting arrested pales in comparison to the sacrifices of thousands of people who have died for their convictions, so I hope that if ever faced with such a situation I wouldn't falter.

I would be less of a human if I weren't willing. Been personally on this line. Scary, and strangely humbling to surrender to something you realize is more important than what happens to me.
Read Martin Luther King's "Letters from a Birmingham Jail". It may clarify the question for you.

Of course. I don't mind sacrificing my freedom for protesting against the President's shameful actions. I can still make my protest behind bars as well. Neither the police, nor his supporters, nor the Secret Service can shut me up. I would follow my friends in this as well. Free speech rules! Fight the power!

only if you interrupt a forum or do it without a permit on government property on the outside of it. if you incite a riot or cause a nusance to a merchant and block normal operations, you can get arrested.

Its really easy to "Yes, definately, I would", but, when faced with such a situation, I guess it depends on whether I will have the courage to live up to my convictions.
