Everytime I burn something, turn on a program, etc it gets soo noisy. I dont remember it being like that before. Its a Dell. Anybody have any suggestions how i can get it back to normal?

ok im sry i guess its called a hard drive..im not to savvy on computer terms..

Your hard drive should not make much noise. Get yourself a new hard drive before this one dies. Most new drives come with instructions for copying the old drive to the new drive.
Contact a PC technician if you are uncomfortable taking your computer apart.

Sounds like it's your hard drive or your CD-ROM. Not your modem.
