I liked it, but there's always an expiration on them. I haven't used them for quite a while now and ended up throwing it away. I had found an old stash of it when I was cleaning my apartment and always had the habit of trying any makeup again on the back of my fist to see how they look again before throwing it out...Well, when I dabbed my fingers on the powder, it was fine on my fist...BUT eventually the powder on my fingers was starting to turn blackish. Eww, I guess that's what the minerals were, not sure. It's a good thing there's an expiration date, but at the same time it sucks when you rarely put it on....and now the thought of that powder turning black is just gross....Good thing I didn't try putting it on my face.

I've been using Bare Escentuals for 4 years, and have introduced it to all ages of women who now use it and absolutely love it. In fact, one of my closest friends began using it about 18 months ago, and her collection of B.E. is huge. I can't say enough about this makeup, and how it has improved my skin. I read where some women complain about it not staying. If that happens then I would use a makeup primer prior to applying B.E., but after using a moisturizer. I use LAURA GELLER'S "SPACKLE" from QVC. It is fantastic, and my makeup lasts with out touch-up for 10 hours. I use B.E. foundation, blush, glimmers, glimpses, all-over-face colors, and it all gives you a truly natural look. Everyone tells me I have beautiful skin, and I tell them it's thanks to the makeup. My elderly neighbor (who is near 80), wears it and she looks lovely. Use it sparingly, especially the WARMTH that comes in the initial kit. I've had the same container for 4 years, and when I say a tiny amount, start out with the smallest amount possible and "build" up from that if you want more. Believe me, less is better and more natural looking. I would contact Leslie Blodgett via QVC customer service to find out if the expiration date is important. I've had some of mine for four years, and have no problem. There is no wax or filler that goes bad in this line of cosmetics. I'd give it a try if I were you. I spend far less on makeup, and am quite pleased with the result. It won't sweat off in the heat either. The initial start up is expensive, but you use so little that you aren't buying cosmetics every month. Try to watch the B.E. shows on QVC, as they give great instructions on how to use these products. QVC will offer special deals once in awhile that you just can't beat. One other note: B.E. eye shadows are the only kind that do not irritate my eyes. I don't rub my eyes at all when I wear it and it stays all day! Just got to QVC.com or type in BARE ESCENTUALS in your browser and check it out. Good luck!

I bought the foundation and found it to be pretty incredible. My skin was soft and even-toned. Even if I forgot to take it off at night, my skin would be fine in the morning, unlike many other foundations I have used in the past. I received constant compliments on the smoothness of my skin.

I wasn't overly impressed (age 40). My mom (age 60) didn't like it either. It looks good when you first put it on but I thought it looked kind of icky as the day went on and my forehead got oily. May be okay with the right complexion.

i dont use it but from the commercials, it looks pretty good. i love how it gives you a natural glow. it's one of those makeup companies which makes you look natural, and not like you;'re actually wearing makeup.

My mom uses it, and has for years. She loves it and is trying to get me to try it and give up my Clinique. She said it is the best make up she has ever used.
