There are so many chat rooms out there it is mind boggling. Just go to the Yahoo! Chats by clicking on the link at:

There will be links to chat, groups, message boards, etc.
A word of warning: You are going to find a lot of discusting stuff in the chats and groups. It could take a while for you to find what you are looking for. I have entered what I thought was a group for parental support and I had a million guys requesting private chats and sending not only suggestive remarks but down right lewd and sexually explicit messages!! In Yahoo! Also, anything you put in the chat room or on a message board becomes available to anyone on the net, not just when you do it but at any time in the future as well. Be very careful to not put out any information which would allow others to find out how you are and where you live, or you phone number etc. Even during a chat you can get taken in by somebody who pretends to be a friend and then during the chats you get comfortable and accidently give out information which leads to you. LIke the name of your work place, of a certain attraction your town or city has, a remark about your type of weather can lead to a strong idea of the part of the county you are in and further discussions can lead to informaion which narrows down your location. Please be very careful. There are a lot of horrid people out on the web who will take advantage of those who are new and are not aware of how insidious these types are. They are so good at pretending to be exactly who you wish to be meeting, yet are somebody else entirely. LIke pretending to be a mature adult in the sixties too only to turn out to be in their thirties and wishing to steal you identity and scam your bank account, get credit cards in your name etc.

When you register you can access message boards which are somewhat safe. There are different boards with a series of > 20"s, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, etc. I go to 40 and fabulous. Cool name huh? lol
There are other community forums if you just look and be careful. General chat rooms are high risk as far as I am concerned. You are a mature adult and have been around a while so you where not born yesterday. Just use your life experiance and learned wisdom, be careful and you will be fine.
I hope you find what you are looking for and meet lots of great people. There are good people out there too, you just have to be careful and take your time.

just visit the above link u will find list of categories just click on the category of ur choice....sign in using ur yahoo id and password and tada u have just entered the chat room
2.)if u have yahoo msgr 8 (new version) then open yahoo msgr click on "messenger"...move ue mouse pointer over yahoo chat>join room.....click on the room u want to choose for chatting
3.)if u have ols yahoo then just clik on the chat icon the rest precedure is easy...follow the instructions!!!
