If you have access to a computer with speakers and the internet, you can access almost any station, as most stream directly from their website. Also, Windows Media Player has a radio tuner with several stations available.

If that doesn't work, you might try Satellite radio; I have no idea if the reception will be any better than standard FM radio, but its something to check into.

This may sound a little crude, but one good way is to use a car radio........have a maintenace man put an antenna up on the roof with a cable neating coming down to your spot in the building. Plug the cable into your car radio, also neatly installed someway in your area. It works and you can pick up distant stations. Car radios in different areas of the building can plug in if you use a splitter for the cable. You will have to have a 12 volt converter to power the radio. You can buy these at places like radio shack. If you are worried about how it looks having a radio like that, just get creative and mount it some way neatly. Oh, you have to hook up speakers, too.

Maybe you should try getting your music in a different way. Your favorite radio station could be available to stream from the Internet. Or, you could try XM or Sirius instead. If you really want FM, then putting an antenna outside the window may be your best option.
