First be sure to check if this is just a show or an ARBA approved show. If it's an ARBA show and they don't meet the standard you'll get disqualified. (as did many rabbits "Dutch" crossbreds that didn't have proper markings etc). I'm sure if you know your breed there is someone at the below site who will be able to tell you the standard. And you might double check but I'm pretty sure cavies need an ear tag to show. I know rabbits need a tattoo for identification and I'm almost positive ID is needed on cavies too. Someone at the ACBA site would be able to tell you for sure.
There's a link to breeds at http://www.acbaonline.com/breeds.html
Also www.arba.net has information on showing.

I guess that you will need to do a little research since you want to enter them into the fair. I would first start by asking friends or others that know something about them, next I would go to either a bookstore, petstore or library to get some books about them. And, while at the pet store you could also ask one of the workers, about them. ( I learned alot about my pet snake from asking the owner of a pet store about it) You could also ask others who have entered their guinea pigs into the fair, and maybe they might give you some tips about the fair process too. Good luck....
